Help Shape Road Safety in Klickitat County: Virtual Open House Now Live
Klickitat County is updating its Road Safety Plan to help prevent serious crashes, and we want your input.
This plan is intended to guide the County on addressing safety issues on county-maintained roads, with the goal of reducing fatal and serious injury crashes. By analyzing crash data, roadway conditions, and public input, the plan will identify cost-effective strategies to improve safety for everyone traveling in Klickitat County.
A virtual open house is now live and will be available through August 6, 2025. Community members can explore an interactive map of crash locations, learn about crash trends, and suggest areas where safety improvements are most needed.

This planning effort is funded through the State’s Highway Safety Improvement Program. While not all improvements identified in the plan can be built right away, the Road Safety Plan will help the County apply for funding and focus limited resources where they will make the greatest impact.
Your feedback will help shape future investments and save lives.
