Per Ordinance O100422, Section 2.72.040 Automatic Fee Schedule Adjustment, the published hourly rate for staff time is being adjusted annually. The increase of the fees is based on 80% of the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue CPI-U All Urban Consumers as published in August. The 2024 percentage increase will be 4.32% (80% of the published 5.4%). The new normal hourly rate for 2024 will be $78 ($75 x 1.0432 = $78.24, rounded to the nearest dollar). The new "non-compliance" hourly rate will be $104 ($100 x 1.0432 = $104.32, rounded to the nearest dollar). See the attached fee comparison below. Effective January 2, 2024.
